A New Improved Mouse Cursor

February 25, 2010 by karonsplace

One of the first things I do when I get a new computer set up, is to make the mouse cursor as large as I can make it so it’s easier to see. I’m not much of a fan of the cutesy cursors that are in the shape of animals, etc.

Thanks to Gizmo Richards’ listing of freebies, I just found a really great little addition to make my computing life even better – it’s a free program called XsX Alpha Blended cursors, and you can get it here.

When installed, the cursors are so easy to see on the screen, and they change colors according to what function they are performing. I’ve only been using them for the last half hour or so, but I was an immediate fan. I’ve installed on my desktop, my laptop, and will go install on my netbook.

Give these a try, and see if you’re not as impressed as I am.

Oh, and if you want to see other great finds that Gizmo comes up with, check out his site here
